Say “Hi” to Dave Carroll!
Dave joined the team in late 2019, bringing 20 years of print experience to Tactive and helping clients with all their print needs.
1. What are three words that best describe you?
Loyal, hardworking, sensible.
2. What does a typical day at Tactive look like for you?
I spend most of my time estimating, and writing up jobs for production. It is my job to help customers with what they might need and provide suggestions on the best and most cost effective solutions for that.
3. Before working at Tactive, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I have had many jobs over the years, but when I was young I spent multiple summers detassling corn. It was fun, but terribly hard on the hands and arms.
4. If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be?
I am a huge football fan and even though as a Colts fan, Pittsburgh would be the second most hated team, I would say Terry Bradshaw. He just seems like a ton of fun. It would be great to hang out with him for a few.
5. What is your favorite thing to do in Indy?
Without a doubt going to the Colts games. We make a full day of it and have a pretty good size tailgate before and after.
Bonus Question: Share something interesting about you!
When my kids were younger, I took a few years off from printing and was self employed in construction. I learned a lot on how to build homes. When we bought our home in Avon, I was able to finish the basement on my own and save thousands of dollars. It is nicer than the main part of our home.
