Say, “Hi”, to Indigo!
Indigo (Indy for short) joined the Tactive team in early May 2018. His easygoing attitude and willingness to eat any leftover lunch scraps makes him one of the most popular employees at Tactive.
1. What are three words that best describe you?
Sad, tired, and apologetic.
2. What does a typical day at Tactive look like for you?
I am the official office greeter, so I try to listen very carefully for a guest or fellow employee to walk in the front door so I can invite them to pet me. Some people are afraid of me but I try to show them very quickly that I’m a big lover who is just looking for my next treat! After that, I try to stay as close to Tim (Tactive co-owner) as possible, so I follow him around the office a lot. After a long day of greeting and playing fetch, I carpool home with my current roommate, Tim. Don’t tell the bosses, but sometimes I take a nap on the couch. It’s hard work being this sweet!
3. Before working at Tactive, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Before I saw the Office Dog position posted by Tactive I was working at the Humane Society for Boone County. The most interesting thing about working there were the little dogs that made weird sounds when they barked. Was it a “meow” sound? Anyway, their office was across from mine and I’m pretty sure they spent all day plotting how to take over our offices and destroy us.
4. If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be?
Scooby Doo. I’d just like to know how he worked out that deal for his own unlimited supply of snacks. I’ve been barking with a few people here at Tactive about branded treats of my own since they seem to know a lot about marketing brands. Maybe I’ll have my own line of treats soon!
5. What is your favorite thing to do in Indy?
Well, my name is Indy, which is short for Indigo – named after our HP Indigo printer at Tactive. But mostly I really love doing nothing. If I’m not doing nothing, then I like pets, sneaking a kiss, and staring at my coworkers while they make lunch. If I make a really cute face sometimes they’ll give me a tiny bit!
Bonus Question: Share something interesting about you!
In my previous jobs, I was called “Simon”, but I’m getting used to my new nickname! Also, my resume includes such skills as sit, shake, and stay, but I’m pretty sure that I can’t hear very well. That’s okay, though, because Tim can’t hear that well either, so it works out!
Thanks, Indy! Do you need help with your next print and promo project? Say, “Hi!” We’re ready to make your next campaign your best yet.
