Since the very beginning, Tactive has believed that quality, can-do, above & beyond service is the reason our clients choose us over our competitors. And our employees are the best at making sure our clients print & promo projects are top notch. In this employee spotlight series, we take some time to get to know them a little better.
Say, “Hi”, to Nikki Hershik!
An experienced promo pro, Nikki joined Tactive in 2015 to manage the promotional products side of the Tactive business. A creative problem-solver, Nikki now manages the customer service team, ensuring that each client’s experience is an exceptional one. Let’s get to know Nikki!
1. What are three words that best describe you?
Energetic, Talkative, Opinionated (in a good way)
2. What does a typical day at Tactive look like for you?
I recently stepped into the role as Client Experience Manager so, I oversee the front office customer service staff. On a typical day, I speak with a lot of clients via phone and email, get projects quoted and into production, handle vendor relations with our suppliers, attend sales and marketing meetings, and help direct the service staff on projects or questions.
3. Before working at Tactive, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
In high school, I was a tap dance teacher for elementary aged kids.
4. If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be?
Glennon Doyle Melton. As a mom, her blog (Momastery) resonates with me for its honest (and hilarious) portrayal of parenthood.
5. What is your favorite thing to do in Indy?
I love to visit the different museums in Indy with my kids or check out the zoo on a sunny day. On a rare date night, my husband and I enjoy hanging out in Fountain Square.
Bonus Question: Share something interesting about you!
My hidden talent is being able to juggle being a full-time employee and a full-time mom. It is trickier than expected!
Thanks, Nikki! Do you need help with your next print and promo project? Say, “Hi!” We’re ready to make your next campaign your best yet.
