5 Questions with… Seb Sincek

Since the very beginning, Tactive has believed that quality, can-do, and above & beyond service is the reason our clients choose us over our competitors. And our employees are the best at making sure our clients’ print & promo projects are top-notch. In this employee spotlight series, we take some time to get to know Seb Sincek a little better.

1. What are three words that best describe you?

Bold, Inclusive, Social

2. What does a typical day at Tactive look like for you?

It all starts with my long drive to work, where I usually listen to the radio and get caught up on current events. Once I walk through the doors, I always try to greet anyone I see, make my way to my desk and check through emails for deadlines, edits, or print approvals. My days always end up being different depending on the magnitude of each project, ranging from t-shirt designs, to local brewery labels, and even some print and advertising. What really makes my day is the people I work with; we bounce ideas off each other, come up with creative solutions and have fun doing it!

3. Before working at Tactive, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

From ages 8-10, I worked on commercials aired in South America for Coca-Cola and other more local brands of television. My mom actually knew someone in the casting business, and luckily for me and one of my cousins, we were the demographic casting agents were trying to book. Most of my commercial work was done on the beach, taking weeks at a time off school to go shoot with a team consisting of directors, camera crews, and other actors. First thing I ever bought with my money was a Dexter’s Lab sweatshirt, lol.

4. If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be?

TRIPLE H! lol I’m a big fan of pro-wrestling. I’d love to have a conversation with him, talk about the psychology of wrestling, his greatest matches, all the funny skits he’s been a part of and how his mind works when he’s booking the shows.

5. What is your favorite thing to do in Indy?

I love spending time with my people. Whether it be my family, close friends, or giant crowds. You can usually find me in a dive bar somewhere in fountain square, singing karaoke or participating in trivia games. I also always try to make it to at least one Pacers, Colts, Indians, Eleven game every season. Big fan of competition!

Bonus Question: Share something interesting about you!

One passion project I’d like to start is learning how to maintenance my own motorcycle. It’s a 1983 Kawasaki KZ750 so it needs constant TLC.
