Client Success Manager

Shawn joined the Tactive Team in 2022 from Tactive’s acquisition of PDA in January. A rockstar at deadlines, Shawn handles an incredible volume of customer, vendor, sales, and management requests daily. Let’s get to know Shawn!

1. What are three words that best describe you?

Joyful, Empathic, and Loyal

2. What does a typical day at Tactive look like for you?

Every day starts with me greeting all my co-workers with a “Good Morning!” I walk around the building and make sure I say it to each person. It only takes 5 minutes, but it starts my day off in the right way by being grateful for my Team and spreading a little joy! I am a list maker, so I review my “To Do List” while I login to my email. Then I adjust the list for that day. I love that every day is different. During busy days, I can get redirected many times for rush orders and requests for help finding the best swag item for my clients. I have to be able to pivot all the time. But it is fun and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

3. Before working at Tactive, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

My family owned a Junk Yard and Service Garage when I was growing up. There were always vehicles being worked on and people coming to us in search for auto parts. During the Summer as a child, I would guide customers through the junk yard to the area where their model of vehicle was located. I would often say, “This is Ford Land” or “Welcome to the Buick Village”, good luck in finding your part! FYI – I was paid in Bubble Gum and Snacks.

4. If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be?

This is a hard question, I have many people that I would like to chat with, but I would say my Mom. She changed her residence to Heaven in 1993. I miss her very much, so to hear her voice again would be marvelous.

5. What is your favorite thing to do in Indy?

Spending time with my Husband and our two puppies, Brick and Bolt.
Bolt & Brick in their dog bed.

Bonus Question: Share something interesting about you!

My favorite hobby has many names: Thrifting, Antiquing, and Junkin’. I love browsing Thrift Stores and Antique Malls in search of treasures. It is fun to mix the old with the new in my home. My current obsession is Hobnob Milk Glass.

Thanks, Shawn! Do you need help with your next print and promo piece? Say, “Hi!” We’re ready to make your next project your best yet.
