Director of Operations
Tactive is looking for a Director of Operations with experience in screen-print & embroidery production, commercial printing and project/warehouse fulfillment. If you are a proven self-starter, enjoy working in a team environment and have operations management experience, you will be a great fit for this role.
The Director of Operations is responsible for monitoring the execution of daily operations while offering suggestions to upper management with ways to improve the overall technical workflow in an efficient and streamlined manner.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the VP of Operations to direct, administer, and implement best practices for screen-print, embroidery, digital print, and fulfillment production teams within the organization
- Define, implement, and revise operational policies and guidelines for each area of production, including preventative maintenance
- Partner with department heads to develop and ensure company-wide operational compliance and output quality levels are being met
- Coordinate with technical support for machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Stay up to date on technological and operational market trends to ensure Tactive is a leader in best practices regarding screen-print, embroidery and digital print offerings
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an operations role and in a management or leadership capacity
- Understands production of screen-print embroidery and digital print machines
- Knowledge of MIS systems such as Avanti Slingshot, Shopworx, PrintSmith or similar
- Ability to effectively present solutions and strategies on site
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively and problem solve
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
