The Challenge:
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health by funding scientific research, educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention, advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention, and supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide.
To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month in May, Indiana’s local AFSP chapter teamed up with Indianapolis Coffee Guide to provide Indianapolis-area coffee shops with custom-designed coffee sleeves. The new project had lots of interest from Indy’s best in brews: 17 cafes across Central Indiana were interested in sharing the sleeves with their customers!
Here’s where Tactive came in: AFSP Indiana needed a tactile marketing partner who could source and produce 25,000 sleeves – while keeping costs low for the grassroots chapter.
The Solution:
Indianapolis Coffee Guide, a satisfied Tactive customer, suggested AFSP Indiana reach out to Tactive. Our client success team found a supplier that could produce the size and quantity needed for the project – and even worked with the production team to make sure the sleeves were delivered to Indianapolis in time for AFSP Indiana’s volunteer packing party.
And because, above all else, we are a human brand, Tactive donated a portion of the production costs in-kind as a sponsor and supporter of AFSP’s mission. The project was a huge success, with positive feedback from cafes and coffee connoisseurs alike. One of the participating cafes shared their feedback with the AFSP team: “Any chance we get to be able to participate in a good cause with the community is a good thing.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
But the story doesn’t stop there! Now, Tactive is working with additional AFSP chapters and team members on more tactile marketing projects – including apparel and promotional products. One referral from a loyal customer led to more… a win for Tactive, Indianapolis Coffee Guide, AFSP, and our entire community!
