Client Project: Hi & Mighty Retail Tasting Display

The Challenge:

Hi & Mighty is an Indianapolis distillery known for crafting spirits and cocktails that celebrate life’s big (and not-so-big) victories. The company was gearing up for a major retail expansion in 2024, launching its products in Indiana-area Kroger stores and enhancing its presence in liquor stores across the Midwest.

When it comes to competing with other big brands in a supermarket shopping environment, Hi & Mighty needed an eye-catching shipper display to boost visibility and drive sales – better than just products on a (boring) shelf could ever hope to be. “Tactive has been a go-to print resource for partners that we trust here in Indy,” said Dan Fahrner, co-owner. “We started asking around and everyone pointed us to Tactive.”

The team at Hi & Mighty had a creative, vibrant design for a custom shipper display, and they came to Tactive looking for a local team that could bring their design to (real) life at a reasonable price for their family-owned company. And we said, “Hold my Lemon Shake-Up.”

The Solution:

Tactive produced an eye-catching shipper display that would stand out in any store, featuring the bold colors and playful zest that Hi & Mighty is known for. And since Hi & Mighty was inspired by a state fair staple to make their signature canned cocktail, the display even features a die-cut Indiana State Fair welcome arch on top of the shelf.

But we didn’t stop there. We also printed custom stickers for each mascot – making sure to highlight their new 2024 flavors, Lemon Shake-Up Lite and Peach Shake-Up. And for that finishing touch of authenticity, we sourced custom metal buckets to complete the setup.

The result? A show-stopping tasting and retail set-up that grabbed shoppers’ attention and provided an engaging, brand-consistent experience for Hi & Mighty. “People comment on our product displays all the time,” said Dan. “It’s a huge reason we’ve been able to increase our sales volume at retail accounts… Surrounding the products with point-of-sales elements that share our story and pop out from the competition has been a game changer!”
