A Bit of Tactive History
Tactive, formerly known as Print Resources, is based in Indianapolis and has been since our founding in 2000. Our first office was located in the heart of the historic Stutz Factory Building. As part of our residency, we managed the Stutz Art Gallery, hosting events supporting local artists. After relocating to our Riverside Drive location in 2008, we’ve borne witness to the growth of the 16Tech Innovation District and revitalization efforts at Riverside Park.
Team Tactive is chock full of talented visual and performing artists who bring brands to (real) life by day and bring Indianapolis to life at night. Additionally, while our community focus has leaned toward the arts, we also love to support the local sports teams, nonprofit organizations, and advocacy groups that make Indianapolis happen.

Techpoint
TechPoint aims to strengthen Indiana’s tech ecosystem by bringing together companies, philanthropies, government, universities, and talent. For over 15 years, Tactive has partnered with TechPoint to provide printing and promotional materials for their annual Mira Awards event. The Mira Awards is a gala honoring the Best in Tech.
The District Theatre
Formerly the Theater on the Square, The District Theatre is a cornerstone live performance venue in the Mass Ave historic district. When the pandemic made it difficult for performing arts groups to operate in enclosed spaces, The District Theatre found a creative solution. They converted an alleyway into an outdoor theater! Tactive assisted with creating signage solutions that turned the OutBack Stage into one of Indy’s best outdoor venues. We continue to support The District Theatre’s efforts to highlight the stories of traditionally marginalized groups.
Broad Ripple Magazine
Historically hyper-targeted, Broad Ripple Magazine is expanding its reach to a wider audience by celebrating the businesses and people that make up all of Indianapolis’ “North Side.” Tactive supports these efforts through campaigns such as the #bikebroadripple campaign, bringing together a publication, artist, and printer to highlight businesses along the popular Monon Trailway.
Indy Shakes
Another local theater group, Indianapolis Shakespeare Company, Inc., also known as Indy Shakes, produces high-quality, fully professional Shakespeare in the Park productions. Indy Shakes is a champion for the Near Northwest community with a home theatre located in Riverside Park – just a hop, skip, and jump north of Tactive HQ. Tactive is proud to provide printing and promotional services supporting its efforts.
ArtMix
Located in the historic, downtown Harrison Art Center, ArtMix transforms the lives of people with disabilities through the creation of art. With five core programs and additional special projects, ArtMix serves more than 6,000 people annually. Tactive serves as an in-kind sponsor for their annual Arts for All Fest, a free community event promoting art and movement for all.
The Parks Alliance
Formerly the Indianapolis Parks Foundation, The Parks Alliance of Indianapolis ensures that Indianapolis residents and visitors have access to high-quality parks, trails, and greenways—now and for generations to come. Tactive helped The Parks Alliance source trendy swag for their rebrand announcement and donor programs, in addition to sponsoring fundraising events such as their annual Farmraiser and inaugural BINGO night. Local Sources, Global Reach
Indianapolis is home to a dynamic entrepreneurial movement. Tactive enthusiastically shops locally by sourcing custom logo items from small and minority-owned businesses – here in Indy or in our clients’ communities. We never miss a chance to promote a local solution for a customer project – from custom-scented Penn & Beech candles featuring corporate logos to cookie bars made by Our Sons Bakery. Furthermore, we know the importance of driving business in our community and giving others a small taste of what makes our home remarkable.
